Having established its own patent in 2011, Y-cook India today supplies over 3,500 shops and exports to 9 countries.
“Our products are processed within 30 hours after harvest in order to avoid nutrition losses,” said founder Janardhan Linga.
With the support of the government, 2 years of research were necessary to invent the new category.
“It responds to the demand for healthy food and brings a solution to the supply chain by avoiding product losses.”
Y-cook India is based in Bangalore and processes about 30 tons a day, 365 days a year.
Its major export customers include the UK, Norway, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Chile and France. It complies with the highest standards of BRC, HACCP and FSSC 22,000.
