Viva Fresh to move to Houston after record 2023 attendance
The Texas International Produce Association has attracted a record attendance to its Viva Fresh Expo events. The event hosted more than 2,500 attendees, this year with more than 200 booths and about 400 buyers, said Dante Galeazzi, TIPA president and CEO.
“All three of those statistics are record-breaking figures for Viva Fresh,” Galeazzi said. “Every year this event is continuing to grow and get better, and we continue to focus on highlighting what this region is about.”
This is the eighth Viva Fresh in nine years, minus the 2020 event canceled due to the pandemic.
Next year’s event is moving to Houston, scheduled for April 11-13 at the Marriott Marquis.
“Viva Fresh is excited about the opportunity to show attendees yet another great Texas metropolis,” said Galeazzi. “Since 2015, the show has focused on bringing the best of the Tex-Mex corridor to the fresh fruit and vegetable industry, and with so much to offer we know attendees are going to love Houston and all that it offers.”
TIPA plans to host Viva Fresh 2024 and 2025 in Houston before returning to the J.W. Marriott in San Antonio in 2026.
