TSW 2022, Poland’s fruit tree expo, attracted 346 exhibitors from Poland and abroad on 23,000m² of exhibition space. Over two days, the fair saw 11,146 visitors from many countries. The seventh Prof. Szczepan A. Pieniążek Awards were presented to three winners:
- Timac Agro Polska Sp. z o.o. – for its range of biostimulants and liquid fertilisers
- DNA Performance; Królik Maszyny Sadownicze – for an innovative set of two trailers cooperating with platforms and orchard harvesters Królik bin handling;
- Fertico Sp. z o.o. Instytut Agronomiczny Fertico, for DNAexpress, a method for testing plant material that allows for very quick and accurate determination of the culprit of individual disease symptoms.
The jury also recognised Nexbio Sp. z o.o. for the Plant Pathogen Analysis service, Royal Brinkman Polska Sp. z o.o. for the Moleaer Device, and Osmia Future Sp. z o.o. for the BeeGrow mobile application.
