Record year for exports of Peruvian grapes expected

Peru’s 2023/24 (Oct-Sep) grape crop is forecast to reach 775,500 tons, an increase of 1% compared to the previous year. According to the latest USDA report, domestic consumption of fresh grapes is forecast at 180,000 tons in 2023/2024, a 3% drop from 2022/23. Peruvian grape exports are forecast to reach a record 595,000 tons in 2023/2024, up 2% from the previous year. The United States will continue to be the lead export market for Peruvian grapes.
