Peru will dazzle at Fruit Logistica 2023
The main fresh fruit and vegetable fair in the world will once again be the platform to demonstrate Peru’s leadership in agrobiodiversity, its export capacity and the quality of its products. Thanks to the efforts of the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (PROMPERÚ), the best of the best of Peruvian products, from all regions of the country, will be exhibited.
With the presence in this commercial platform, PROMPERÚ begins the 2023 strategy, which seeks to position Peru as the main producer of fresh food with differential advantages in Europe.
In this edition, 16 exporting companies and 5 exporting unions will participate, demonstrating to potential foreign clients that Peru is a reliable and responsible strategic partner in their business plans. The main objective at Fruit Logistica will be to achieve 200 million USD in prospective business.
Fruit Logistica 2023 will allow the consolidation of Peruvian products such as avocado, fresh blueberries, fresh mangoes, citrus fruits, asparagus, and bananas; as well as the regional supply of pineapple, ginger, turmeric, granadilla and pomegranate; and other new Peruvian products such as dates, figs, aguaymanto, pitahaya and cherries.
The Peru Pavilion and the Peru brand
The Peru pavilion will measure 520 m² at the event, and will exhibit the well-known Peru brand that, since its launch in 2011, has contributed to opening the country to the world. The visual design of the pavilion pays homage to the Andean world through the tocapu, a set of geographical icons of Inca origin.
This concept is an effort to communicate Peru’s commitment to the preservation of its cultural heritage, which is based on sustainability, creativity and innovation as part of the vision of the future.
In addition, the pavilion will also have an area called “Innovation”, in which the growing range of exportable products with added value will be displayed.
