Pakistan’s fruit and vegetable exports rise

The value of Pakistan’s vegetable exports grew by 1.5% from July 2020 to April 2021, compared with the same period a year earlier. Total shipments were worth US$277.5m. Similarly, data from the Pakistan’s Bureau of Statistics shows that the country’s fruit exports climbed by 1.2% Y-O-Y to US$393.2m.

Meanwhile, during the period under consideration, exports of all other food items increased by 8.6% to US$476m compared to the year before.
