Naturitalia introduces high quality Italian kiwi

The Kiwi 2016 campaign of Naturitalia featured a particular focus on large distributors in Italy and Europe and fluid market conditions. 

The Kiwi 2016 campaign of Naturitalia featured a particular focus on large distributors in Italy and Europe and fluid market conditions.  “Our traditional markets are Italy and the largest European countries, where we supply the major distribution chains with high quality green and yellow pulp kiwis under the Jingold brand, and with the Hayward Kiwi under the Naturitalia brand.  In terms of overseas markets, we focus mainly on North America and Asia, where the fluid markets conditions mean the prospects are good.  In total, our kiwis are sold in Europe, China, Singapore, the United States, Canada, South Africa, and recently, thanks to Jingold, also in South America,” said Augusto Renella, marketing, research and development director.  Thanks to the stable weather conditions, the current season is a positive one.  “As was forecast, volumes are down on 2015, which was a very high production year.  However, there is some good news from a commercial perspective as  the quality problems faced in the southern hemisphere, particularly in Chile, have opened up space for our kiwi,” Renella said.  This space on the market will favour new varieties.  “Thanks to our collaboration with the Kiwigold Consortium, in the coming months we will offer the market the ready-to-eat kiwi under the Jingold brand,” Renella said.
