The big advantage is that overfilling is reduced to a minimum of even less than 1%. The automatic ideal weight calculation also noticeably reduces the time required.
The combination scale immediately recognises which is the optimal combination of products to take from which weigh belts in order to reach the specified target weight with minimal giveaway. This is done in the shortest possible time.
It takes 1 person to place the produce on the weigh belts and another to take the appropriate produce bundled from the machine for the next packing step.
Courgettes, celery, chicory, cucumbers and especially pointed peppers are ideal for this machine.
CONVINCED CUSTOMERS
Our customer in Morocco packs pointed peppers and was looking for a solution to save personnel but also to deliver more accurate packages. The time factor and overcrowding were the main reasons for him to look for a new solution.
Previously, he worked with ordinary table scales and recorded a giveaway of just under 5%. This corresponded to about 15 kg of pointed peppers per pallet. He achieved a speed of 2 pallets per day per line. You can imagine that with almost 20,000 pallets per year, the potential for improvement is enormous.
We were able to convince him of our solution with 4 MHP 1200. Today he has a giveaway of just under 0.2% and can deliver 45 pallets per day.
He has achieved a return on investment after only a few months. Since then, he has been able to increase his profit enormously.
