Kai Mangelberger named new director of FRUIT LOGISTICA

On November 1, 2021, Kai Mangelberger took over the leadership of the world’s leading fruit fair, which will take place from February 9 to 11, 2022 as a face-to-face event in Berlin.

Kai Mangelberger, who previously managed FRUIT LOGISTICA on an interim basis, will take over the management with immediate effect. Mangelberger has almost 20 years of experience in the trade fair and event arena and, for the past six years, he has been deputy project manager at InnoTrans, the leading international trade fair for transport technology.

Mangelberger succeeds Madlen Miserius, who initially accompanied FRUIT LOGISTICA as Product Manager and later led it as Senior Product Manager. After twelve years of success at FRUIT LOGISTICA, Miserius is delighted to take on new tasks and challenges at the Messe Berlin exhibition company.

“We want to be the constant for the fresh fruit industry, an industry that often has to adapt quickly and flexibly to changing framework conditions,” said Mangelberger. “We respond to the questions that arise from these changes by bringing together industry participants from all areas of the supply chain, anticipating future topics in our Framework Programme, and offering a platform for innovations that help the industry to fruit and vegetables remain sustainable.
