Ibérica de Patata, updates product catalogue for new campaign
Ibérica de Patata, one of Spain’s leading potato marketing companies, presented its extensive new catalogue at the Fruit Attraction fair in Madrid in October. Its offering features a wide variety of products segmented by culinary use, with multiple formats and calibres, marketed under emblematic brands such as La Auténtica Patata, Princesa Amandine and El Sabor de Mamá. The range also includes new potatoes from Spain, such as the New Potato from Malaga and the Castiza Potato from Madrid. The firm announced that its Princesa Amandine brand will be developed both at the point of sale and on the packaging itself, with raffles and television advertising.
Ibérica de Patata has also invested in a new warehouse in Mercamadrid with a capacity for one million kilos and has doubled the storage capacity at its headquarters. In addition, the company has introduced a more sustainable packaging system, an initiative that it has been progressively implementing in the last year with the aim of mitigating its environmental impact. The new packaging consists of single-material formats that cut plastics by 50%, as well as zero-plastic containers made from cellulose. Meanwhile, the firm is conducting trials of new varieties with a view to launching new segmented products.
