Germany remains largest market for Spanish fruit and vegetables

In the first 6 months of 2023, Spanish exports of fresh fruits and vegetables to Germany were worth €2.88 billion, up 12% compared to the same period in 2022, according to the latest data from the Department of Customs and Excise processed by FEPEX.
Spain’s fresh produce exports to France were worth €1.58 billion (+4%), to the United Kingdom were worth €1.28 billion (+3%), to Italy were worth €489 million (-3%) and to Poland were worth €438 million (+12%).
The next five recipient countries are Portugal (€364 million (+39%)), Belgium (€282 million (+17%)), Switzerland (€237 million (+12%)), Czech Republic (€199 million (+6%)) and Sweden (€172 million (-6%)).
