First keynote speakers for GLOBALG.A.P. Summit 2016 announced

GLOBALG.A.P. has announced that Prince Pieter-Christiaan van Oranje-Nassau, member of the Dutch Royal Family, will officially open the GLOBALG.A.P. Summit on 27 September 2016 in Amsterdam.

And the following keynote speakers will be sharing their expertise in open plenary sessions:

• Adjiedj Bakas – Keynote Speaker in the Opening Session (Bakas is a trendwatcher and futurologist.)
• Prof. Dr. Arie Havelaar – Keynote Speaker in the Session: How to Stay Ahead of Food Safety Risks? (Havelaar is the mathematician behind the Disability Adjusted Life Years (DALY) method, which measures overall disease burden.)

GLOBALG.A.P. also said it will hold a press conference on September 27 at 5.30pm, and announced that two farm visits have been organised for September 29 for those interested in seeing the benefits of GLOBALG.A.P. on-farm implementation.
