Covirán ends January with four new supermarkets
Covirán ended January with four more supermarkets located in Spain’s autonomous communities of Catalonia and Andalusia. The first opening corresponds to Zaaran 786 S.L. located at C/ Santiago Rusinyol, nº 23 in Vilaseca, Tarragona. It is the eighth opening of this partner who manages another seven establishments in Catalonia, all in Tarragona except the supermarket located in Sant Quinti de Mediona, province of Barcelona. It offers its clients a sales room of 145 square metres. They contain a butcher’s department, delicatessen, bakery and self-service fruit and vegetable sections. This opening has generated two jobs.
The next supermarket to begin its activity is Eloy García Cuenca, located at Calle Real nº 29 in the town of Piñar, in Granada. It has a 120-square-metre sales area with assisted-service butcher and delicatessen sections, and self-service greengrocers and bakery sections. This opening has generated four jobs.
The partner Zaaran 786 S.L. opened another establishment, its ninth opening, on Monday, January 27 at Carrer de la Sèquia, nº 19, in Tarragona. It has a 110-square-metre sales area and self-service butcher, delicatessen, greengrocer, and bakery sections. Three employees manage the establishment, after being trained at the business school of the retailer’s online platform.
The month ended with the inauguration of Supermercado Hijano S.L., at Avenida de Jábega, nº 2, in Cala del Moral in Málaga. It offers a large sales area with 295 square metres and butcher and delicatessen sections with assisted service, as well as greengrocer and bakery sections with free service. The opening has generated eight jobs.
