Cool Logistics Global 12th conference: 13 – 15 October 2020
The 12th Cool Logistics Global conference will be held both physically and online and is now open for bookings with limited availability until June 12th on special offer tickets. The COVID-19 pandemic has shone a very public spotlight on the importance of world supply chains, logistics and freight transport. Not surprisingly, food and medical supply chains have received the most attention. Now more than ever the international cold supply chain community needs to connect, communicate and collaborate, with some big questions to debate and discuss, such as:
-
What lessons can we collectively learn from this crisis?
-
Do we need to rethink industry working fundamentals?
-
What role will digitalisation, automation and other technology innovation play in the future?
-
How do we improve global cold supply chain resilience against future shocks to the system?
Ports across the world are very much open for business and our event host, Port of Rotterdam, is busy keeping vital perishable- and other cargoes moving. As lockdown measures ease across Europe, we are looking forward to meeting our colleagues in October in Rotterdam: the Dutch government has now announced that from September 1st, meetings with up to 200 people in person can take place with appropriate distancing measures, so Cool Logistics Global is very much open for business and our team is planning our event.
Nothing beats the power of a face-to-face Cool Logistics Global event, but not everyone who wants to attend in person may be able to do so. In 2020 we will host a virtual Cool Logistics Global at the same time as the physical event.
