Canarias banana, Jerte cherry and Ribera del Xúquer persimmon join forces to promote EU Quality Brands

Plátano de Canarias, Cereza del Jerte and Kaki Ribera del Xúquer have come together in order to launch a program to promote the EU’s Quality Brands of agricultural products. The three Regulatory Councils have agreed to work in a coordinated manner and prepare a joint promotional programme to be launched in 2019. The programme is co-financed by the European Union for the promotion of agricultural products in the internal market and in third countries, as stipulated in Regulation (EU) 1144/2014 of the European Parliament and the Council.

For the definition and execution of these promotional programmes, the Regulatory Councils of the PDO Jerte cherry, PDO Ribera del Xúquer persimmon and PGI Canarias banana have appealed for a marketing agency to work on the development and execution of promotional activities.
