Bumper Spanish citrus crop

Spain’s Ministry of Agriculture has published its official production estimates for the country’s 2018/19 citrus crop. There has been an increase in volumes from last season for all of the major productions, especially in satsumas, where output is set to rocket by 33.5%. The next biggest climber is lemon, which is forecast to be up 17.6%, followed by clementines (+16.2%), orange (+11.2%) and grapefruit (+6.6%).
