Bonnysa expands range of vegetable spreads with broccoli mole and beet dip
Bonnysa, based in Alicante, has got us accustomed to innovative convenience range products, which they pioneered back in 2006 with freshly grated tomato. At Fruit Attraction, the firm presented not one, but two new offerings: Beetroot Dip and Broccoli Mole.
The fruit and vegetable experts know that the client is looking for healthy recipes, preferably vegetables which are easy and fun to consume. To this end, the firm has developed a series of different products, such as Saborsada®, a vegetable version of the Majorcan sausage sobrasada, an artichoke dip, which was unveiled last year and has been widely accepted by consumers, and a range of guacamole, which has received several awards including Flavour of the Year and the Taste Award.
2022 marks the year when Bonnysa expanded its range of spreads, with two new references that feature all of the typical characteristics of the other products of the range: flavour, nutrition and ease. Beetroot Dip, a spread suitable for dipping and for use in recipes, catches the eye with its colour. “The colour is incredibly striking. Even if you are not a fervent beetroot fan, you should give it a chance as you will fall in love with the product,” said the company’s commercial director Jorge I. Brotóns. Besides dipping, it is very versatile, as it can give a touch of colour to hummus, be spread on toast or simply used to accompany a fish as part of a garnish/sauce.
The Broccoli Mole is a new twist on the firm’s already complete range of guacamoles (original, signature, spicy, with spirulina), combining two super foods in the same product: avocado and broccoli. While tasting like guacamole, it has a special texture and, of course, flavour. It offers a way of making vegetables more fun and promotes the “Fast Good” movement by offering healthy but very tasty products with zero additives. Bonnysa’s Broccoli Mole can be consumed as a traditional guacamole or used to create interesting dishes, since the touch of broccoli provides new taste options.
