BIOFACH 2020 to show how ‘organic delivers’
Biofach, the world’s leading trade fair for organic food and natural cosmetics sectors, will open its doors again from 12-15 February 2020 at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. An annual must for the international organic sector, Biofach is set to welcome about 3,500 exhibitors from around 100 countries. The addition of two halls means there will be even more room for exhibitors and trade visitors to the combined Biofach and Vivaness event, which in 2019 welcomed 51,488 visitors. With the congress theme ‘Organic delivers!’, Biofach will put the spotlight on the positive effects of doing business in an environmentally friendly way. It will also address another highly topical issue with its new special show “All about water – is the basis of all life endangered?” Among other highlights this year will be the keynote address on Wednesday February 12 by the highly acclaimed scientist Jane Goodall. Considered to be the world’s foremost expert on chimpanzees, Dr Goodall is also known for her dedication to nature, species conservation and sustainability.
“She is certain to inspire the organic movement through her words and we are all looking forward to her presentation and her presence here with great excitement,” said Petra Wolf, member of the NürnbergMesse management team.
Once again, Vivaness, the international trade fair for natural and organic personal care, will take place in parallel with Biofach. In 2020, Vivaness will be held in Hall 3C and display a greater range of products thanks to the 300 exhibitors expected.
