Bejo showcases its onions
Thu 20/01/2022 by Bejo Ibérica - Translation by Richard Wilkinson
The leading seed company in onion cultivation held two open days last week to present its new onions for storage. Showing off a new catalogue for 2022, 2023 and 2024, the entire Bejo technical and commercial team was available to resolve doubts and concerns of professionals.
Visitors were able to see Bejo’s latest innovations in shallots – Davidor, the first variety of shallot suitable for intermediate day areas; two veterans in onion sets – Virgin and Bridger, and well-known favourites such as Citation and Orlenda, accompanied by innovations like Stingray and BGS 363, a new long-day hybrid, especially for the bulb market with single centres.
Both days saw a large influx of people wishing to face the future challenges.
