Awards to recognise contribution of Spanish women in agriculture
The journalist and expert in business communication, Francisco Seva Rivadulla, together with a group of companies from rural areas, have created the ‘Rural Women’ national awards, which aim to recognise the important role that women play in Spanish rural areas. The prizes will be announced after the summer. Seva said,
“Our objective with this initiative is to recognise the excellent contribution that women make to the rural environment, because their work is very important for the growth of our sector.”
The ’Rural Women’ awards will have four different categories: Business, Professional, Legal and Honourable Mention. These awards will be presented annually in different parts of Spain and aim to become a vehicle of information to disseminate the great work done by women in the Spanish agri-food world.
