Apofruit enhances Adelita® raspberry

The Apofruit-Mediterraneo Group continues to invest in the quality of its berries through varietal innovation. “While the Mediterranean Group’s blueberry production areas are more widespread, our raspberry production is focused on two main areas: Sicily, which ensures the highest quality levels in Adelita^®, and Campania, which is another highly suitable area,” said Ernesto Fornari, director of Apofruit. This year’s production of conventional raspberries and blueberries is in line with that of last year, while organic berries have seen a sharp increase in production and marketing in Italy and abroad.
