What is CoolTech – a Cool Logistics event?
CoolTech – a Cool Logistics event – was introduced following industry demand for a dedicated platform to explore global reefer and cold chain technology, and to discuss what needs to change to help this particular sector of the industry move forward. The event gathers together the best and brightest to exchange technical knowledge and technology innovation in order to build the temperature-controlled supply chains of the future. We cover every node and mode and fuse established industry with newcomers, investors, educators and more.
Schiphol Airport- global airfreight hub
Schiphol moves 1.7M tonnes of cargo each year, with pharmaceuticals and flowers a dominant sector. The airport is a vitally important perishable cargo hub. Airfreight is also increasingly used for cold chain logistics as well as ocean transportation – so there is no better location than this global cargo hub for CoolTech 2023 to take place. This is the first time that Cool Logistics has held an event at an airport – this reflects the increased and ongoing integration of cold chain logistics across sea, air and land.
