On May 4, a new fruit transportation route connecting Dalian Port (China) and Vietnam officially opened, which allowed fruits from Ho Chi Minh City to arrive at Dalian Port in just seven days.
The first general cargo ship of South African citrus in 2020 departed on May 1. With 4,521 tons of grapefruit and lemons, it is expected to arrive in Japan on May 18 and arrive in China on 26.
On April 26, Chinese Customs announced to approve imports of fresh U.S. avocados that meet the relevant requirements.

Recently, Fruit Expo 2020 announced to change its date to this September 24th-26th.
Guangdong has downgraded its public health emergency response from level 2 to level 3, effective on May 9th, meaning that large-scale exhibitions and conferences in Guangdong are allowed to be staged again, which is certainly going to pave the way for the successful staging of Fruit Expo 2020!
