Spain is the third European country, after France and Italy, in terms of the number of operators in the organic sector (60,621), and is the world’s second largest exporter of organic foods, only surpassed by Italy.
Planas was speaking at the sixth meeting of the group of experts “Ecological Ambassadors”, which on this occasion focused on promoting knowledge of organic foods among consumers so they can distinguish them by the Green Leaf logo.
