Almaverde Bio seedless grapes: increasingly in demand in Italy and Europe
Sweet, crunchy, versatile and above all organic, seedless grapes conquer consumers all over Europe for their ease of use and goodness. The producers of Almaverde Bio seedless grapes have started the harvest, which starts in July with the Sugraone variety and ends in October with Autumn Crisp. The grapes are grown by the producer members of OP Terra di Bari in the Apulian area in the Noicattaro area. The production this year is of extraordinary quality in terms of flavor, color and size of the berries. The grapes, grown organically, are packaged and then distributed on national markets and in Europe where the demand is progressively growing.
The organic production of grapes involves the use of cultivation techniques that exclude the use of chemical substances such as pesticides, herbicides and synthetic fertilizers, relying instead on natural methods of fighting against diseases and infestations, such as the use of mineral and natural substances, biological insect control, crop rotation and organic fertilization. Furthermore, the genetic diversity of the plants, the reduction of the environmental impact and respect for the natural cycle of the seasons are privileged in the organic production of grapes.
The particularly appreciated characteristics of seedless table grapes are, in the first place, the absence of seeds, a characteristic which facilitates their consumption also by children. Seedless grapes have a high and constant sugar content and keep for a long time. They have a thin skin, an intense and bright color, and a crunchy and juicy pulp. The taste is sweet and aromatic, with notes of fresh fruit and a slight acidity. Furthermore, organic seedless grapes have a high concentration of antioxidants and vitamins such as vitamin C, vitamin K and folate which make them particularly healthy. They are also an excellent source of water and fiber, which promote digestion and the well-being of the body.
A high quality product, therefore, thanks to organic cultivation, destined to conquer more and more space in consumer purchases thanks also to the added value of the guarantee offered by the European Union through organic certification.
