Bejo lands in Almería with Akasya
On November 23 and 24, Bejo presented the Akasya variety at its El Ejido (Almería) plant. This variety of Spanish short cucumber is characterised by a fruit with well-marked thorns and extraordinary flavour, as well as a vigorous plant with great strength.
Accompanied by the Bejo technical-commercial team, over a hundred people were able to see first-hand a variety that is enjoying great success among farmers. The fruit has a very dark green colour and a great ability to react to periods of stress.
This will not be Bejo’s only appointment in Almería, as its participation in Infoagro (Aguadulce) is already confirmed, from May 10 to 12, 2023.
In fact, Bejo has come to stay in Almería, and this is just the beginning, with new innovations for the short cucumber sector still to be unveiled very soon.
