Haciendas Bio, specialists in organic farming

The firm’s 25 farms across seven Spanish provinces cover a total of 1,628 ha. Haciendas Bio practises organic and biodynamic agriculture to produce fruits and vegetables. Around 85% of its products come from its own farms and the rest from associated and approved producers. Harvest always takes place at the optimum ripening point for each variety to guarantee quality in an extensive product range, and the firm is also working to extend its supply calendar further. The company’s oldest farm is located on 100 ha in Concejiles, in the Extremaduran town of La Zarza, where peaches, flat peaches, nectarines, flat nectarines and plums are grown. Haciendas Bio also engages in creative initiatives, such as the sharing of personal stories and participating in solidarity actions to be closer to consumers.
