Latin America’s B2B food and drinks expo

The food and drinks expo to connect Latin America with the rest of the world will be held between 8th and 10th November 2017 at Tecnópolis in Buenos Aires, Argentina. AlimentAR will bring together the whole region to promote its agroindustrial sector to world, strengthening the value chains, and driving innovation and productivity. The event aims to support the generation of new high-value food suppliers with export quality products.

In a world food market that will need to supply more than 9 billion people over the next 30 years, Latin America produces quality food for more than 1 billion people and has a growth potential in the order of 50%. The region is characterised by an abundance of geographical, human, scientific and cultural riches, which, together with its favourable agroecological conditions, positions it as a strategic and competitive option for investment and for providing food to the world.
