Covirán continues expansion of network

Covirán opened five more neighbourhood supermarkets in May, three in Spain (Andalusia, Catalonia and Castilla León) and another two in Portugal (Faro and Setúbal). These establishments have generated 11 jobs and increased the sales space for customers by 554 square metres.
The first to open in May was in Armilla (Granada), which offers a sales space of 73 square metres, including assisted-service butcher’s and delicatessen sections, and free-service bakery and greengrocers. The next supermarket to open was in Barcelona, with a sales space of 139 square metres, offering charcuterie, greengrocers and self-service bakery. The third store was in Tábara (Zamora), featuring a delicatessen, greengrocer and bakery sections.
